NAILS: Sci-Fi Green

Alright KIDS!

SO I have been on a slight hiatus but I have kicked myself to start updating the Blog and Facebook page again. I am going to try and vary my posts, have a mix between nail, makeup looks, sfx and reviews. If you have any questions or comments leave me a message on Facebook. Also, if you are looking for advice on getting a specific makeup item, don't hesitate to ask!

So here is the first nail look, a sort of green Sci-Fi alien theme.

Products used:
OPI - Natural Nail Base Coat
OPI - Did it on Em (Nicki Minaj Collection)
OPI - Simply Smash-ing (Glam Slam Collection)
Rimmel - 430 Black Satin
Sephora Dotting tool
OPI - Top Coat

First, apply a base coat. I find this really helps the polish last.

Then, two coat of the yellow-green polish

Tear a makeup sponge in half. Put some polish on the textured rip and dab it at the base of the nail bed. Leave the ring finger sparkle-less.

If you feel like the edge is too straight and not 'ombre' enough, take the other half of the sponge with green polish and dab over to blur the line.

Now it looks like you slathered on the sparkle polish in the dark, isn't that awesome?! Take a cotton swap dipped in polish remover and clean up them edges.

Voila, edges (mostly) clean.
Put some black polish on a piece of glass/mirror/cardboard and dip your dotting tool in it. On your ring finger, gradiate the dots from closer to further apart start at your nail edge.

NAIL SWAG COMPLETE.
